Peter Capaldi in Drunk In time
I happened to come across this gem of Peter Capaldi (the new Doctor Who), playing the part of one of two drunk time travellers, in a parody of “The Time Tunnel”. In this clip they end up in Biblical times and see Salome’ dance for King Herod..

Fantastic Four cast for the new movie
I have just read that 20th Century Fox has chosen actors Jamie Bell, Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller and actress Kata Mara as the new Fantastic Four.
Teller will play Mr Fantastic (Reed Richards), Mara will play The Invisible Woman (Sue Storm), Jordan will play the Human Torch (Johnny Storm) and Bell will play The Thing (Ben Grimm) using motion capture.
Rumours are that the movie by Josh Trank will have Dr Doom within it, including one that said Dr Doom will  be female.

Preview Doctor Who’s Karen Gillan in Guardians of the Galaxy
Marvel’s new movie Guardians of the Galaxy stars some really great actors including Karen Gillan (Amy in Doctor Who) as well as Vin Diesel, Benicio del Toro, Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana.
This movie is from the same studio which gave us The Avengers, as well as Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk and Thor.
This is Space Opera at is finest, where Peter Quill, having stolen a gem from the villain Ronan the Conqueror, ends up having to form a team that sounds like the space equivalent of Avengers. The team includes a raccoon (Rocket), a tree humanoid (Groot), the exotic but deadly Gamora and the somewhat mad (and stupid) Drax the Destroyer. When he finds out what the gem really is, the galaxy’s fate will be threatened. The movie is out on August 1, 2014.
The Last of Us, Lego Version
Some of you will be aware of “The Last of Us” the game..
Well I enjoyed some videos showing the gameplay, they were fun to watch though I never played the game itself.
The graphics were fantastic.

Petition to Name New Planet Gallifrey
A fellow Whovian in Australia has started a petition so the newly discovered planet HD 106906 would be given the name Gallifrey, the Doctor’s Homeworld.
The planet is somewhat of an anomaly to astronomers, the Daily Mirror reports.

A teaser trailer has been released for X-Men Days of Future Past and a trailer was released for Captain America Winter Soldier. These movies are highly expected by fans. The full trailer for X-Men DOFP will be out tomorrow.
X-Men Days of Future Past will be in cinema halls in July 2014 while Captain America Winter Soldier will be out in March 2014.
